General Information

LIPOSHELL® liposomes are tiny carriers, homogeneous in size, 170 nm+/-15%. They bare similarity to cell membranes of the human body, which makes them nontoxic, biocompatible and biodegradable.

Vitamin C also known as ascorbic acid is a water-soluble vitamin. Unlike other nutrients, it is one vitamin that is not naturally synthesized (produced) by the human body. It is therefore essential to maintain adequate vitamin C levels to protect against disorders related to possible deficiencies.

The minimum daily requirement for vitamin C is about 1 mg/kg of body weight in an adult, and approximately 2 mg/kg of body weight in infants and children. The daily requirement for vitamin C increases in pregnant and breastfeeding women (to about 1.5 mg/kg of body weight)

Daily Dose: 1 sachet once daily. ASCOLIP® is intended for use in increased vitamin C requirements.The content of the sachet can be ingested directly, or dissolved in a small amount (1-3 oz or 25-75 ml) of still water. One sachet of ASCOLIP® contains 1000 mg (1g) of vitamin C

General Precaution:

Do not exceed the recommended daily intake.
Vitamin C can interfere with blood thickening medication and should be avoided.
Large doses of Vitamin C can interfere with the absorption of copper and selenium in the body.
Vitamin C in a daily dose ≥ 1000 mg may cause mild stomach disorders in people with hypersensitivity.
