What differentiates FE-LIP® Liposomal Iron from the Iron in traditional form?

FE-LIP® liposomal iron provides additional absorption route for High Efficiency. FE-LIP® contains: Free iron (elemental iron) not closed in liposomes-similar to other preparations in the traditional form and Iron closed in liposomes.

Thus, the liposomal form of iron ensures a lower risk of side effects of the digestive system, typical for iron used in a traditional form, including such as: metallic taste, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, constipation.

Possible Uses – When is it worth to use Iron?

Iron is a very important mineral that is essential for the proper functioning of human body. It is worth using it when we have iron deficiency anaemia.
Infants, young children and adolescents: A decrease in the Iron level may occur in infants between 6th and 18th months physiologically, due to depletion of Iron stocks delivered in fetal life. Iron deficiency anemia may also affect teenagers, during puberty and increased growth, due to its greater demand.
Women in the PERI-MENSTRUAL period: In case of profuse and prolonged bleeding.
Pregnant women: Iron is crucial for women planning a pregnancy for proper development of the fetus nervous system and its general wellbeing. During pregnancy Iron is used by fetus to a large extent. Both during pregnancy and after childbirth, the woman’s body must accumulate iron intensively to avoid anameia.
egetarians, VEGANS: A heme iron (of animal origin) is absorbed in almost 22%, while a non-heme (of vegetable origin) only in 2–5%. Therefore, in a vegetarian or vegan diet the amount of iron delivered to the body may be insufficient.
Blood donors: During a single blood donation the human body loses 200–250 mg of iron. It takes about 56 days if they absorb 4–5 mg of iron per day, to rebuild the proper iron level in the donor’s body (a recommended minimum interval between donations). First of all, iron should be provided with a balanced diet. As we absorb only about 10% of the consumed amount of iron, replenishment of proper iron level only with diet maybe challenging. In such cases, it is worth to consider additional supplementation.

FE-LIP® – Liposomal Iron 20 mg sachet – food supplement
Daily Dose: 1 sachet once daily. The content of the sachet can be ingested directly or dissolve in a small amount of still water. It can be consumed with a meal.
Pack size & content: 20mg x 30 sachets of 5g each – Oral gel.
Storage: Store in tightly sealed packages at 5°C–25°C, out of the sight and reach of young children. Protect from light and humidity.
